With the aspiration of uplifting the moral standard among San Carlos City Division teaching and non-teaching staff, a Spiritual and Moral recovery Program was launched at Don Federico Muňoz Mandapat Sports Dome, September 28. San Carlos City public school teachers and employees attended and joined the activity.

The program was formally commenced as Mr. Mario S. Cariňo, Assistant Schools Division Superintendent, welcomed all the participants along with the invited guests, after which, Dr. Sheila Marie A. Primicias, Schools Division Superintendent, delivered her message and orientation on the SMP (Spiritual and Moral Recovery Program). The flow of the program was heightened with the following activities: Choral Singing, Human Video and Song Number which was performed by SDS Primicias and The Bubbly Girls.

Dr. Jun B. Cruz, President of Clark Bible College, took the center stage on the latter part of the program focusing on the importance of having a positive attitude towards work and life in general. He said,
“Your attitude will affect the outcome of your work.
Your attitude is the major difference between your success and failure.
Your attitude can turn your burdens into blessings.”

He further elaborated his talk about positivity by leaving nimble words of challenge to the audience. He asked the crowd to ponder on this idea: “If you are a teacher, you are programmed to be a VICTOR and not a victim.” He told them to say, “I am a VICTOR.”

In the afternoon session, Sir Daryl and Sir Mark Jolex of Every Nation Campus (ENC) brought alertness to the crowd as they introduced an ice breaker which tickled the childlike side of every individual. They also showed a video fostering education awareness coupled with faithful worship. The crowd was even more delighted when Renz Ruther Robosa, a San Carlenian Diz Iz It Grand Champion (GMA 7 Show) and Tawag ng Tanghalan Weekly Winner (It’s Showtime), spread positivity through his melodious voice as he serenaded them.

In addition, Mr. Villamor Gloria, the SGOD Chief did the task of introducing a motivational speaker, a consultant and a book author –Mr. Jayson Lo. Lo highlighted some scenarios which are realistic in the field of work. He inspired the crowd through his words of encouragement. Lo authored bestselling books such as YOUNIQUE (Understanding others by understanding you), YOUNIQUE YOUTH and YOUNIQUELY IN LOVE.

The first ever Spiritual and Moral recovery Program launched by the SDO SCC headed by SDS Primicias was concluded with a solemn prayer. Everyone was enthralled and moved by the power of prayers. The program was indeed a success as it has great impact on the lives of employees thereby strengthening their faith in God as they live their lives according to His plan!

All glory to God alone!
