“First in the Philippines that all schools will be ISO certified!”
This was reiterated by Mr. Juan Q. Aquino, President and CEO of Aquino Quality Management (AQM), Management Consultancy Services, during the ISO Alignment Program at the Don Federico Mandapat Sports Dome, November 29.
Seventy-five public elementary and secondary schools in the Schools Division of San Carlos City were pronounced as ISO 9001:2015 aligned and were recommended for certification during the program.
Mr. Aquino presented the Audit Report for Quality Management System (QMS) ISO 9001:2015, provision of Educational Services of San Carlos City. He presented the results of the audit conducted by ISO consultants in the 75 schools comprising six clusters.
Highly commendable ratings were given to the Quality Management Representatives (QMRs), Overall Document Controllers, Document Controllers (DCs) and Internal Quality Auditors of all clusters for possessing knowledge of the standard, ISO 9001:2015.
Public Schools District Supervisors were likewise recognized for their adequate understanding of the standard and for their highly commendable performance – hands-on participation, in the ISO journey.
A number of recognitions were given to both elementary and secondary schools such as Best School for an Established System, Most Improved School in terms of Facilities, Best School in Filing System, Best School in terms of 5s, Best School in Document Retrieval and School having Best Practices among others.
Mr. Aquino extended his congratulations to the Schools Division of San Carlos City. “Allow me to give due recognition to the excellent leadership of Madam Sheila na maging world class organization ang lahat ng schools ng SCC,” said Mr. Aquino.
In her congratulatory message, Dr. Sheila Marie A. Primicias reminisced the day when she started serving as superintendent in SDO-SCC. “Nag-umpisa sa pangarap. Sabi ko, I’ll make a difference in the Division of SCC,” Dr. Primicias exclaimed. With the schools pronounced as ISO aligned, Dr. Primicias thanked everyone who was involved in the ISO journey. “Pinapasalamatan natin si Lord. Hindi mangyayari ito kung hindi dahil sa Kaniya,” she added.
Mr. Mario S. Carino, Assistant Schools Division Superintendent, also mentioned in his message about the superintendent’s dream that one day all schools will be ISO aligned and certified. “Ako ay nagagalak sa araw na ito. I believe that deep in our hearts we have attained our dream,” Mr. Carino said.
The song “Tagumpay Nating Lahat” filled the air as attendees to the program sang in festive and joyful mood.
