To improve efficiency and to eliminate unnecessary paperworks in Principals’ Test registration, Schools Division Office of San Carlos City (SDO-SCC) facilitated the one-day Principals’ Test Online Application System (PTOAS) registration, October 9.
This one-day activity headed by Dr. Sheila Marie A. Primicias, Schools Division Superintendent, maximized participation and improved facilitating capabilities of SDO-SCC personnel while allowing registrants to gather their two-year certified Individualized Performance Commitment and Review Form (IPCRF) or Office Performance Commitment and Review Form (OPCRF) and Service Records which are already available in the Human Resource Management Office (HRMO) and Records Section, respectively. Signing up followed in a one-stop-shop registration that comes in four easy steps: (1) verification; (2) evaluation; (3) online registration; and (4) scanning of documents.
Janice Datuin, Principals’ Test passer shared “In my experience, they asked us to submit all of the necessary documents manually and waited for weeks for us to know our test venue and room assignment.”
In an interview, Mr. Norman Flores, Division IT Officer mentioned that this early registration will prevent last minute sign up in website. He further stated that it is an innovation that serves as help for the registrants and early identification for the division to know what further assistance they can provide in preparation for the upcoming test.
As stipulated in DepEd Memo No. 158, s. 2018 entitled 2018 Principals’ Test, the Bureau of Human Resource and Organizational Development (BHROD) and the Quality Assurance Divisions of the Regional Offices (RO-QAD) will administer and conduct the test.
Principals’ Test serves as a mechanism for selecting school heads in the public education sector. The test is open to all interested applicants for Principal I position.
A total of 62 registrants successfully accomplished PTOAS registration. Qualified applications will be revalidated by the Regional Office.
