San Carlos City, Pangasinan– The Boy Scouts of the Philippines campers from different places in Pangasinan showcased various talents in the 41st Pangasinan-San Carlos City Council Jamboree – Festival of Talents last November 16, 2018 at Speaker Eugenio Perez National Agricultural School, Mamarlao.
A showcase of talents was witnessed by more than a thousand spectators coming from different places and crowding the arena to support their respective patrols or plainly to witness what the Boy Scouts of the Philippines have to offer. The night was on fire as the audience jeered, cheered, clapped and laughed as Fire Dancers, Singers, Hip-hop Dancers, Rappers, Poets and Instrumentalists came to battle it out for one of the most anticipated events in scouting.
Participants both in the elementary and secondary levels as well as the Scouters or the troop leaders took their stand and boldly presented their talents in a night of festive atmosphere.
Capping the night out is the recognition of those who bested the rest in their respective categories. In the elementary level, Sto. Domingo Elementary School of the District of Sual took 3rd place, while Abanon Central School and Central 1 Elementary School of the District of San Carlos City had 2nd place and 1st place, respectively. The Secondary level was dominated by San Carlos City as Pangalangan National High School, Libas National High School and Speaker Eugenio Perez National Agricultural School were judged as 3rd placer, 2nd placer and 1st placer respectively. Meanwhile, the Scouters category was topped by Ketegan National High School followed by the District of Lingayen I placing 2nd and the District of Sta. Barbara in 3rd place.
